Location: Stourton Dairy, Leeds, LS10 1AX

Shift based role – 4 on 4 off 12 hour shift pattern (2 days, 2 nights, 4 off)

We have an exciting M\u00c8 Technician opportunity at our Stourton Dairy in Leeds, Arla's second-largest and most complex dairy site in the UK, producing over 700 million litres of tasty and nutritious products each year.

How will you add value

• Provide critical breakdown support across a complex 24 / 7 production site from filling and packaging lines, chilling systems and conveyors.
• Carry out planned, preventative maintenance and servicing activities as planned via the CMMS system
• Troubleshoot and diagnose breakdowns using structure problem solving techniques and drive continuous improvement to improve operational efficiencies.
• Champion health and safety by adhering to safety standards, SOPs and participating in risk assessment
• Support and lean into projects across the site, both small and large, actively inputting to site development and performance.

• Experience in an FMCG, Food or regulated manufacturing environment, working at pace in a maintenance engineer or similar
• Ideally you will be time served / apprentice trained engineer holding a minimum NVQ Level 3 / ONC or higher.
• Structured problem solving experience, Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and faulting finding.
• Computer literate – SAP PM or similar CMMS system, Microsoft Office

• Produces around 660 million litres of the nation’s favourites per year from 16 automated filling lines.
• Producing over 225 SKU within 10 different product groups such as Cravendale & BOB filtered milk, Flavoured milk, Creams, alcohol cream, custards and cottage cheese are supplied from Stourton.
• Site has received c.£315 million in investment since 2004, with a further major investment of c.£50 million soon to begin.
