Job summary

Dovetail & Slate Ltd seeks an experienced M&E Supervisor to oversee mechanical and electrical works on a busy West Midlands site. You will manage contractor teams, ensure work is safe, on spec, and delivered to quality standards.

The role requires on-site leadership of M&E trades, a recognised qualification in mechanical and/or electrical engineering, and a track record of coordinating external contractors to deadlines and safety targets.

About the Role

As M&E Supervisor, you'll oversee mechanical and electrical works for a further education provider, taking responsibility for the standard and delivery of work carried out by contractors on site.

You'll act as the main point of contact for contractor teams, ensuring work is completed safely, to specification and to the required standard.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supervising and coordinating contractors carrying out mechanical and electrical works.
• Monitoring the quality and progress of contractor work on site.
• Acting as the key liaison between contractors and the organisation.
• Ensuring mechanical and electrical works meet required standards and specifications.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• Experience leading or supervising contractors
• A recognised qualification in mechanical and/or electrical engineering
