Job summary

RTL Group Ltd is seeking an experienced M&E Site Manager to lead on a large-scale energy infrastructure scheme based in Falkirk, Scotland. The role demands a hands-on leader with a strong mechanical and electrical background, capable of delivering works on substations and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) or similar energy projects.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an M&E Site Manager on large-scale energy or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical installations within an industrial or energy environment.
• Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple work packages on site.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day delivery of mechanical and electrical works across the project.
• Manage subcontractors, supervisors and site operatives, ensuring works are completed to the required standards.
• Coordinate site activities with engineering teams, project management and other contractors.
• Monitor progress against the construction programme and ensure key milestones are achieved.
• Ensure all works comply with health and safety regulations, project specifications and quality requirements.
• Conduct site inspections, monitor installation quality and ensure any issues are addressed promptly.
• Maintain accurate site records, progress reports and relevant project documentation.
• Identify potential delays or construction issues and work proactively with the wider team to resolve them.
