Job summary

SSA Recruitment are partnered with a leading Mechanical & Electrical contractor to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to manage projects across CAT A, CAT B, and Shell & Core schemes in London.

You'll take ownership of cost reporting, forecasts and subcontract evaluations, while supporting junior staff. The role offers a fast progression path to a Senior QS position within a short timeframe and a collaborative, team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Quantity Surveying experience
• Relevant Quantity Surveying degree
• Ability to work in a team
• Enthusiastic can-do attitude
• Honest and reliable character

Responsibilities

• Production of accurate project cost reporting, commercial dashboards and project cost forecast
• Identification and evaluation of commercial risks and opportunities for improved performance
• Subcontract evaluation and management
• Production of accurate and timely Cost Value Reports
• Provide commercial support to all ongoing Project and Commercial reviews
• Valuations
• Building relationships with clients and other key stakeholders
• Assisting in the development on junior members of staff
