At Bouygues we require an experienced M&E Quantity Surveyor as we expand our team for a specific project based in Jersey. Bouygues’ operates an MEP Unbundled strategy, reducing reliance on external suppliers to improve quality, safety, and project control.
Skills Profile
- Previous experience as a M&E Quantity Surveyor with a main contractor/MEP Subcontractor, focussing on supporting M&E Packages
- Strong commercial awareness
- BSc in Quantity Surveying or similar
- Experience covering both pre and post contract
- Demonstrates strong attention to detail/producing accurate work
- Effective Communicator
- Shares knowledge with others
- Managing (M&E) subcontractor packages
- Effective time manager
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure optimum commercial return for the project
- Accurately prepare cost/value reconciliation reports
- Agree interim valuations on schedule for commercial advantage
- Prepare and finalise client accounts with senior management
- Finalise subcontractor accounts to maximise margins
- Prepare subcontract orders per company procedures, aligned with procurement schedules and contract programs
- Control subcontractor accounts and minimise variation costs
