Job summary

FBR Recruitment are seeking an Intermediate M&E Quantity Surveyor to join a major data centre project in West London. The role supports commercial management of the M&E package on a high-profile site with a minimum 12-month contract and immediate start.

You will work with the wider commercial team to control costs, procurement and financial reporting on a long-term data centre programme.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying.
• Experience on major M&E projects.
• Strong commercial and contractual knowledge.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• On-site in West London.
• British passport.
• Availability to start immediately.

Responsibilities

• Commercial management of M&E packages throughout the project lifecycle.
• Preparing and managing valuations, variations and payment applications.
• Assisting with procurement and subcontractor management.
• Reviewing and managing subcontractor accounts.
• Cost reporting and forecasting.
• Supporting change and variation management.
• Monitoring project costs against budgets.
• Assisting with final accounts.
• Working closely with Project Managers, Commercial Managers and the wider M&E team.
• Maintaining accurate commercial records and reporting.
