Job summary

Bimplus is recruiting an experienced MEP QA Manager to lead quality assurance on a major London building services project. You will own QA across the site, coordinating with project management, engineering and site teams to ensure installations meet drawings, specs and ITPs.

You will develop project-specific QA/QC plans, review inspection records, manage NCRs and drive improvements, ensuring documentation is complete ahead of handover.

Qualifications

• Experience as MEP QA Manager or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services.
• Understanding of ITPs, inspection processes and quality documentation.
• Experience managing NCRs and quality issues.

Responsibilities

• Managing the overall MEP quality assurance process across the project.

• Maintaining accurate QA documentation and project records.

Job description

We are currently recruiting for an experienced MEP QA Manager to join an established MEP contractor delivering major building services projects across London.

This is a key role within the project team, responsible for ensuring that all mechanical and electrical works are delivered to the required quality standards, in line with project specifications, drawings, ITPs and relevant regulations.

The Role

About You

We're looking for an experienced QA/QC professional with a strong MEP background and a detailed understanding of mechanical and electrical installations.

You will ideally have:

• Previous experience as an MEP QA Manager, QA Manager, QA/QC Manager or MEP Quality Manager.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services.
• Experience working for an MEP contractor or main contractor.
• Good understanding of ITPs, inspection processes and quality documentation.
• Experience managing NCRs and quality issues.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.
• The ability to work effectively with site teams, subcontractors, consultants and clients.
