OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a Lead Engineer to oversee a team of mechanical and electrical engineers, manage PPM and reactive works, and ensure compliance with statutory and contractual obligations.

The role collaborates with the helpdesk, reviews contractor performance, prepares client quotes, and maintains critical trackers to support reporting and operational efficiency. On-site, with an on-call rota, this role requires hands-on leadership.

Qualifikationen

• Qualified Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineer (e.g., NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent).
• Experience leading a team of engineers in a facilities management or maintenance environment.
• Strong understanding of PPM, reactive works, and statutory compliance requirements (e.g., F-Gas, electrical safety).
• Proficiency in analysing data, and using tracking/reporting tools.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with helpdesk, contractors, and clients.

Aufgaben

• Lead a team of engineers, assign tasks, monitor performance, and balance workload.
• Review PPM and reactive work with helpdesk, allocating resources for timely completion.
• Prepare and track quotes for client approvals, ensuring transparency and value.
• Review contractor certificates, ensure compliance, and document for audits.
• Maintain compliance trackers for PPM schedules, deadlines and KPI data.
• Support monthly business reporting with task analysis and risk updates.
• Provide technical oversight to verify work quality and ensure safety standards.
