Job summary

The Grand Brighton is seeking a proactive M&E Assistant to join our Conference and Banqueting team on a flexible zero hours basis. You will play a key role in delivering exceptional guest care, supporting multiple departments, and ensuring M&E setup and room readiness for events across our property.

We value a positive, hands-on approach, clear communication, and a readiness to participate in ongoing training and development within a supportive Leonardo Hotels environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated passion for guest service and hospitality.
• Ability to work across departments to enhance guest experience.
• Adherence to health and safety and data protection policies.

Responsibilities

• Offer exceptional guest care at all times
• Collaborate with colleagues in all departments to elevate the overall guest experience consistently
• Ensure all aspects of the M&E operation are clean and tidy, set up as per specification and ready in time for the client arrival
• Service, refresh and clear rooms as required
• Operate in a safe and orderly manner, with particular adherence to Manual Handling, and promptly report any hazards, accidents, losses, or damages to management
• Meet and greet clients in the absence of a Supervisor or Manager
• Adhere to Company policies, Code of Conduct, procedures and relevant legislation at all times – including, but not limited to, Data Protection and Health and Safety regulations
• Complete any other reasonable request made by a member of the management team or a supervisor
