Job summary

Hybrid Electrical Solutions Limited is growing, and we need an M&E Estimator to turn engineer reports into clear quotations, pricing labour, materials and supplier costs for reactive maintenance and smaller remedial works.

You'll work closely with the Maintenance Manager and engineers, handling a high volume of quotations, learning quickly, and building a broader estimating and commercial career as the business expands.

Qualifications

• Experience producing quotations or pricing in M&E, building services, or maintenance.
• Practical understanding of mechanical and/or electrical works.
• Confidence with labour, materials and supplier costs.
• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Excel and quick to learn pricing systems.
• Ability to interpret engineer reports and scopes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate, timely quotations for reactive maintenance and smaller M&E works.
• Review engineer reports, job sheets and scopes to understand work.
• Identify labour, materials, access and other costs per quotation.
• Use rate cards, historic pricing and suppliers to build quotes.
• Clarify technical details with engineers and maintenance team.
• Obtain and compare supplier prices.
• Maintain clear records of quotations and pricing.
• Manage workload and meet response times.
• Help develop pricing templates and data as the team grows.
