Job summary

Talent Solution Partners is seeking an M&E Estimator / Commercial Quantity Surveyor in Dartford. The role handles tendering, budgeting and commercial management of M&E projects valued from £100k to £1.5m, with a clear path to Senior Commercial Manager.

You will work in a hybrid pattern with 3 days in the office, supporting mentoring and career progression in a building services contractor based in Dartford.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial awareness and Excel skills.
• Ability to interpret M&E drawings and specifications.
• Confident communicator with strong organisational skills.
• Ambitious, proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership.

Responsibilities

• Prepare estimates and tenders for mechanical and electrical installation projects.
• Manage project budgets, costs, forecasts and profitability.
• Handle procurement, subcontractor quotations and payments.
• Price, track and negotiate variations.
• Prepare applications for payment and financial reports.
• Manage the commercial aspects of projects through to final account.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers and clients.
