Job summary

Talent Solution Partners is seeking an M&E Estimator / Commercial Quantity Surveyor in Dartford. The role handles tendering, budgeting and commercial management of M&E projects valued from £100k to £1.5m, with a clear path to Senior Commercial Manager.

You will work in a hybrid pattern with 3 days in the office, supporting mentoring and career progression in a building services contractor based in Dartford.

• Manage the commercial aspects of projects through to final account.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers and clients.

M&E Estimator / Commercial Quantity Surveyor

Location: Dartford, Kent

Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 DOE

Hours: Monday to Friday

Working Pattern: Hybrid – Minimum 3 Days in Office

Position: Permanent

The Opportunity

We're looking for an ambitious M&E Estimator / Commercial Quantity Surveyor to join an established building services contractor based in Dartford.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified commercial professional who is ready to take ownership of projects valued between £100k and £1.5m, managing everything from initial tender through to final account.

You’ll receive support and mentoring from experienced management, with a clear progression route into a Senior Commercial Manager position.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare estimates and tenders for mechanical and electrical installation projects
• Manage project budgets, costs, forecasts and profitability

What We're Looking For

• Qualification in Quantity Surveying, Estimating or Construction Commercial Management
• Previous experience estimating and commercially managing M&E projects
• Good understanding of JCT / NEC contracts
• Strong commercial awareness and Excel skills
• Ability to interpret M&E drawings and specifications
• Confident communicator with strong organisational skills
• Ambitious, proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership
