Job Title: M&E Contract Manager Facilities Management
Location: London, W12 (West London)

We are currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled M&E Contract Manager to join a leading global provider of integrated facilities management services. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a high-profile M&E contract with one of the UK's most prestigious healthcare organizations, ensuring the efficient and seamless delivery of mechanical and electrical services in a complex and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the M&E contract, ensuring that all mechanical and electrical services are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
  • Manage a team of engineers and supervisors, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services and a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure the effective performance of the contract.
  • Take ownership of the financial management of the contract, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety, regulatory, and environmental standards at all times.
  • Maintain strong relationships with the client, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
  • Coordinate the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Lead the continuous improvement of service delivery, identifying opportunities for innovation and efficiency.
  • Manage the contract s performance reviews, ensuring compliance with agreed service level agreements (SLAs) and contractual obligations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in managing M&E contracts, preferably within a healthcare or large-scale facilities management environment.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, including HVAC, BMS, and general building services infrastructure.
  • Demonstrated experience in contract management, including budgeting, cost control, and financial forecasting.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team of engineers and supervisors.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with both clients and internal teams.
  • Experience with managing service level agreements (SLAs), KPIs, and compliance.
  • Health and safety knowledge, including risk assessments and method statements.
  • Relevant qualifications in mechanical, electrical, or building services engineering (e.g., HNC, HND, or equivalent).
  • Previous experience within a healthcare or critical environment is highly advantageous.

Desirable:

  • Project management qualifications (e.g., Prince2, PMP) are beneficial.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and best practices in M&E facilities management.
