Fusion People Ltd is seeking an experienced Commercial Lead for M&E projects in Sunderland with hybrid flexibility. The role leads the commercial function across major North East projects and reports to senior leadership, driving profitability through robust cost control and contract governance.

• Lead the commercial management of M&E projects from pre-construction to final account.
• Develop and implement commercial strategy across multiple projects.
• Oversee procurement of subcontractors and major supply chain packages.
• Manage project budgets, forecasting and financial reporting.
• Ensure NEC/JCT form contract administration and compliance.
• Identify, manage, and mitigate commercial risks and opportunities.
• Mentor and develop Quantity Surveyors and commercial staff.
• Support tendering and pre-construction with commercial input.
