Job summary

PRO TAX, a leading accountancy firm, is seeking a M&A Tax Director to join the Reading office. You will lead the M&A Tax Advisory practice, overseeing tax due diligence, structuring and international tax matters while coordinating cross‑firm teams across offices.

You will nurture client relationships with UK-listed, PE-backed and family‑owned groups, drive new business proposals, and mentor junior staff as part of a dynamic, client‑facing tax group.

Qualifications

• ACA/CA/CTA/ACCA qualification required.
• Significant corporate tax experience essential.
• Strong leadership and client-management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead M&A Tax Advisory service and oversee due diligence, structuring and international tax matters.
• Collaborate with specialist teams across the firm and oversee multi-office projects.
• Build and nurture relationships with clients to understand their business needs.
