Stafffinders is seeking an Associate Director to lead high-profile M&A tax engagements in London, advising private equity and corporate clients on complex transactions. You will oversee tax due diligence, structuring and advisory work for buy-side and sell-side deals, while building trusted client relationships.

The role requires a Chartered Accountant or Tax Adviser with UK tax expertise and prior exposure to M&A. Strong project management and client leadership skills are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Qualified Chartered Accountant or Tax Adviser with ACA/CA/CTA/ADIT or equivalent.
• Strong grounding in UK tax practices.
• Experience in UK corporation tax compliance and/or M&A.
• Proven client management and project management skills.
• Exposure to Transfer Pricing, R&D, VAT, Employment Taxes, Stamp Duty, share transactions or share option schemes advantageous.
• Highly organised with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint for client and target documentation.

You'll take a leading role across tax due diligence, transaction structuring and M&A tax advisory, working on both buy-side and sell-side deals while building trusted relationships with clients and key stakeholders.

Your personality, experience and qualifications

We're looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant or Tax Adviser, holding ACA, CA, CTA, ADIT or an equivalent qualification, with a strong grounding in UK tax practices. You'll bring experience in UK corporation tax compliance and/or M&A, alongside proven client management and project management skills and the ability to advise confidently on complex technical tax matters. Exposure to areas such as Transfer Pricing, R&D, VAT, Employment Taxes, Stamp Duty, share transactions or share option schemes would be advantageous. You'll be highly organised, comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines, and confident using Excel and PowerPoint to prepare high-quality client and target documentation.
