Job summary

Lazard in London is seeking an Associate to join the AMCI Team. You will report to senior bankers on transactions and support marketing efforts and execution with a central role in client interactions.

The AMCI team works across a highly international client and project base, advising on transactions throughout continental Europe, China, MEA and North America. The team benefits from cross-border collaboration.

Qualifications

• At least four years of M&A transaction experience in investment banking.
• Solid understanding of financial modelling and valuation processes.
• Strong knowledge of finance and accounting practices.
• Fluency with AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance analysis and workflow.
• High standards of professional and ethical conduct.

Responsibilities

• Analytical and technical excellence: build financial models and analyse data.
• Drive day-to-day execution of transactions and collaborate with senior bankers.
• Support due diligence and propose solutions.
• Prepare client presentations and marketing materials.
• Manage and develop junior analysts and oversee work quality.
