An exciting opportunity has arisen for a registered nurse or Allied Health Professional (AHP) to join our small, experienced, and dedicated community-led Lymphoedema service.
The service provides specialist advice to patients on managing lymphoedema, chronic oedema, and lipoedema across the borough of Enfield. We operate nurse-led clinics daily in various settings and visit housebound patients at home or in residential and nursing homes.
The post holder will take a leading role in managing, developing, and efficiently running the Lymphoedema service. Responsibilities include providing specialist advice, support, education, and training to patients, carers, healthcare staff, and professionals, based on current evidence, research, and best practice guidelines.
The candidate must demonstrate understanding of the causes and management of chronic oedema, lipoedema, primary, and secondary lymphoedema. The role involves carrying a clinical caseload, working to a high professional standard, utilizing advanced clinical and theoretical knowledge, and maintaining accurate record keeping.
