Job description

Job Opportunity: Community Lymphoedema Nurse

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a registered nurse or Allied Health Professional (AHP) to join our dedicated community nurse-led Lymphoedema service.

The service offers specialist advice on managing lymphoedema, chronic oedema, and lipoedema across Enfield. We conduct nurse-led clinics daily in various settings and visit housebound patients at home or in residential and nursing homes.

Role Responsibilities
  1. Lead the management, development, and efficient operation of the Lymphoedema service.
  2. Provide specialist advice, support, education, and training to patients, carers, and healthcare professionals based on current evidence and best practices.
  3. Understand the causes and management of chronic oedema, lipoedema, and primary and secondary lymphoedema.
  4. Maintain a clinical caseload, working to high professional standards using advanced clinical and theoretical knowledge as an autonomous practitioner, including record keeping.
