Job summary

MK Search is seeking an LVAP/Testing Manager to oversee electrical testing and technical compliance across three projects in Central London and Basingstoke. You will lead inspection and testing activities, ensure safe isolation and energisation, and report to the Projects Director.

The role requires LVAP experience, strong BS 7671 knowledge, and strong communication with site teams and senior management, with travel between sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience as LVAP or testing manager with electrical building services background.
• Strong knowledge of testing, safety and energisation procedures.
• Able to coordinate testing across multiple sites and projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee electrical inspection and testing across three sites.
• Manage LV authorisation, safe isolation and energisation processes.
• Review test certification and handover records for accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with BS 7671 and project specs.
• Provide technical guidance to PMs, site teams and subcontractors.
• Identify non-compliances and drive corrective actions to completion.
• Report progress and risks to the Projects Director.
