Job summary
Electricity North West is seeking a skilled LV Technician to join our front-line team. You will be a time-served electrical engineer with City & Guilds Level 3 and a Test & Inspection 2391 or equivalent, plus a Gold ECS card. Substation exposure and 18th Edition experience are highly desirable.
You will work on large LV systems, perform panel installations, cable terminations and containment work, and deliver high-quality reports. A strong IT capability and professional presentation are required.
Qualifications
- Fully qualified electrical engineer with City & Guilds Level 3.
- Test and inspection qualification (2391 or equivalent).
- BS7671 – 18th Edition wiring regulations knowledge.
- Possess a Gold ECS card.
- Experience in LV power systems and substations is advantageous.
- Good IT skills and ability to produce reports (Word/Excel).
Responsibilities
- Present a professional image in uniform while on customer sites.
- Produce clear maintenance reports using MS Word and Excel.
- Drive productivity, efficiency and continuous improvement.
- Manage daily work prioritisation with the team.
- Ensure contractual delivery and SLA performance are met.
