Job summary

Morson Human Resources Limited is recruiting two experienced Electricians to support planned and reactive electrical maintenance across a major utilities framework in the North West.

You will work on pumping stations and MEICA equipment, with a focus on fault finding, testing and certification. A full UK driving licence is required, and the role includes occasional out-of-hours call-outs.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation is required.
• City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing is required.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671) is required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative and reactive electrical maintenance.
• Perform electrical fault finding, repairs and installations.
• Complete inspection, testing and certification works.
• Work on pumps, motors, MCCs, control panels and associated MEICA equipment.
• Undertake electrical isolations and work in accordance with safe systems of work.
• Complete relevant site documentation and electrical certification.
• Ensure all works are completed in line with health, safety and quality standards.
• Participate in an out-of-hours call-out rota when required.

Rate/Salary: £30.00 per hour

We are currently looking to recruit 2 experienced Electricians to support the delivery of planned and reactive electrical maintenance works across a major utilities and infrastructure framework throughout the North West.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established team working on critical infrastructure assets, including pumping stations and associated MEICA equipment.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative and reactive electrical maintenance.


• Perform electrical fault finding, repairs and installations.


• Complete inspection, testing and certification works.


• Work on pumps, motors, MCCs, control panels and associated MEICA equipment.


• Undertake electrical isolations and work in accordance with safe systems of work.


• Complete relevant site documentation and electrical certification.


• Ensure all works are completed in line with health, safety and quality standards.


• Participate in an out-of-hours call-out rota when required.

Essential Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation.


• City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing.


• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671).


• Full UK Driving Licence.

Desirable Experience

• ECS/JIB Gold Card.


• Previous industrial or MEICA experience.


• Experience working on pumping stations, water or wastewater infrastructure.


• Knowledge of motors, pumps, MCCs and control panels.


• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic abilities.
