Job summary

Ipsum is looking for a qualified Electrician to work on SPEN and ENWL projects in Haydock. You will install electrical equipment, perform asset replacement on 11kV circuits and install LV boards, switchgear, power and lighting.

The role includes substation work, protection panel installation and containment for electrical systems. Applicants should be time served, hold a current JIB Card and meet 18th Edition BS 7671 requirements.

Qualifications

• Qualified Electrician with 18th Edition BS 7671 Wiring Regulations.
• Experience with HV/LV installation and containment is preferred.
• Time served with a valid JIB card and regulatory compliance.

About the Role

This will involve you being responsible for working on projects for SPEN and ENWL. Perform installation of electrical equipment, asset replacement work 11kV, and installation of LV boards, switchgear power and lighting. Work on the SPEN & ENWL substations, protection panel installation and wiring, installation of multi‑core cabling, and containment for electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Have a good understanding of Electrical Power System.

Qualifications

• Qualified Electrician – 18th Edition BS 7671 Wiring Regulations.
• BS 2391 Inspection and Testing (preferred).
• Must be time served and hold a current JIB Card.
• Previous experience working on a DNO network / HV private networks preferred but not essential (Training provided).
