Job summary

Automation Experts in the UK is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to lead LV design activities across complex projects. The role involves mentoring LV Design Engineers, reviewing schematics and calculations, and collaborating with Project Managers to ensure on-time delivery.

You will attend client sites for compliance reporting, guide site teams through migrations, and deliver practical LV solutions while supporting risk mitigation and reducing downtime.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience as an LV Design Engineer.
• In-depth technical knowledge of LV Assemblies and electrical systems.
• Experience delivering safe, reliable and compliant LV design solutions.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead LV design activities across multiple engineering projects.
• Support and mentor LV Design Engineers, providing technical guidance and development.
• Review electrical schematics, calculations and technical documentation.
• Work closely with Project Managers and Project Leads to ensure successful project delivery.
• Attend client sites to carry out compliance reporting on existing LV Assemblies.
• Lead complex site migration projects, supporting LV Engineers and site teams.
• Deliver practical, compliant and client-focused LV engineering solutions.
• Support risk mitigation and minimise operational downtime during project execution.
