Job summary

Quartzelec is seeking Safety Mates to join our Hamilton team, delivering services to clients across the UK. The role involves significant onsite work reporting to a Contracts Manager with emphasis on LV cable jointing techniques, testing, and customer-focused targets, with overtime as needed.

Candidates should have demonstrable LV jointing/safety mate experience, risk assessment competency, and familiarity with method statements. DNO authorisations preferred; First Aid certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Cable jointing/safety mate experience (LV).
• Competent in completion of Risk Assessments and understanding Method Statements and safe sequence of operations.
• DNO Authorisations preferably SPEN / WL-2.
• First Aid certification preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Familiar with DNO Cable Jointing techniques (LV).
• Onsite responsibilities with overtime when required.
• Work under supervision of Contracts Manager with strong accountability.
