Job summary

Aureos is seeking a Cable Jointer to join our growing team in the UK. You will work on HV and LV networks, carrying out jointing and cabling duties and supporting both planned and emergency works.

The role involves responding to faults, maintaining safety and compliance, and collaborating with Project Managers, Engineers, and clients to deliver a seamless service while upholding our high standards of SHEQ and professionalism.

Qualifications

• UK DNO experience with LV/HV jointing authorisation (11kV/33kV).
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or Power Networks Craftsperson.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and jointing techniques.
• Ability to work out of hours and be on standby rota.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience working as an electrician.
• Use of testing equipment and diagnostic tools.
• Excellent communication skills and collaborative approach.
• Familiarity with various cable types and safety procedures.
• City & Guilds 2339-17 or 2304 (or equivalent).
• Emergency First Aid at Work UKTA.
• Asbestos Awareness.
• SSSTS (or equivalent).
• Confined Space Training.
• PASMA / IPAF.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out jointing and cabling work on HV and LV networks.
• Responding to emergency faults and participating in an out-of-hours standby rota.
• Ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with industry regulations.
• Inspecting and maintaining cable systems to ensure performance and compliance.
• Collaborating with Project Managers, Engineers, and clients to deliver a seamless service.
• Maintaining accurate records and adhering to SHEQ policies.
• Representing Aureos with a focus on safety, service, and professionalism.
