Carden Park Hotel in Chester is seeking an Events Manager to lead weddings and events and ensure flawless delivery from guest arrival to departure. The role is full-time (40 hours per week) with shifts including days, evenings and weekends.

You will coordinate with clients, suppliers and internal teams, manage budgets and timelines, and deliver outstanding guest experiences. A luxury hospitality background is preferred, with calm under pressure and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Previous experience managing weddings and events, ideally within a luxury hotel or hospitality environment.
• Passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences and memorable events.
• Highly organised, detail-focused and confident managing multiple priorities.
• Calm under pressure, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent communication skills and confident building relationships with clients, suppliers and colleagues.
• Hands-on team player with a flexible approach and a genuine passion for luxury hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Manage events from guest arrival through to successful delivery throughout their stay.
• Coordinate with clients, suppliers and internal teams.
• Ensure events run smoothly and meet client expectations.
• Oversee event setup, service and breakdown.
• Manage budgets, timelines and event details.
• Provide excellent customer service and build strong client relationships.
• Support the wider hotel team as required, adapting to the needs of the business.
