Job summary

Jayne Peirce Travel Recruitment is collaborating with a young luxury travel DMC to recruit a Head of Operations. The role is home-based with a London office by arrangement, and offers hybrid working patterns to suit a flexible schedule.

You will lead end-to-end operations, build scalable processes, and manage supplier relationships while working closely with the founders as the team grows.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in operations within luxury travel, a DMC or tour operator.
• DMC background a real bonus; strong tour operating experience equally welcome.
• Experience building or improving processes.
• Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent written communication, warm and friendly in tone.
• Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Own trip confirmations end-to-end, coordinating amendments and cancellations across hotels, guides, chauffeurs and other suppliers
• Build and standardise operating procedures, checklists and handover documentation
• Quality-check bookings, setting the bar for accuracy and tone
• Manage supplier relationships, keeping communication warm and prompt
• Partner with the founders on day-to-day operations as the team grows
