Job summary

Trump Turnberry in Turnberry, Scotland, is seeking an Assistant Spa Manager to support the Spa Manager and ensure a luxury spa experience for guests. You will drive the spa's operations, financial direction, marketing objectives, budgeting, VIP visits, and staff training, while maintaining high service standards and a welcoming atmosphere.

Role requires 5+ years in beauty therapy, 2+ years in a supervisory capacity, and luxury spa experience.

Qualifications

• HND-level beauty therapist or equivalent is essential.
• ishga training is desirable.
• Natura Bisse training is desirable.
• Pool Lifeguard/Response qualification is desirable.
• First Aid qualification is desirable.
• Pool Plant qualification is desirable.
• Previous experience within a luxury spa environment is required.
• Minimum of 2 years in a similar supervisory role.
• At least 5 years of beauty therapy experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth operation of the department and act as Spa Manager on Duty during shifts.
• Oversee financial performance, budgeting, and KPI achievement with the Spa Manager.
• Lead staff training, development plans, and performance appraisals.
• Prepare monthly financial and statistical reports for Hotel Executive Committee.
• Develop annual training plans with spa supervisors.
• Maintain stock control, inventory, and par levels.
• Deliver treatments as needed to support operations.
• Foster guest relationships and collect feedback for service improvements.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Housekeeping and Maintenance departments.
