Job summary

Thames Luxury Charters in London SE1 near Tower Bridge is seeking an Events Executive to plan and coordinate weddings, private celebrations and corporate events aboard our luxury fleet. You will work with clients, suppliers, operations and onboard teams to turn event plans into well-organised experiences.

From confirming details to coordinating arrangements and following up afterwards, you will help ensure every event runs smoothly.

Qualifications

• Experience in event planning or coordination, ideally within hospitality, venues or corporate events.
• Clear communication and a warm, professional approach to working with clients and colleagues.
• Strong organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage several events and deadlines.
• A calm, practical approach to problem-solving and changing priorities.
• Confidence with office software; experience of event management or CRM systems is helpful.
• Eligibility to work in the UK and availability for the stated working pattern.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and keep them informed throughout the planning process.
• Coordinate catering, entertainment, timings, setup and other event arrangements.
• Prepare accurate function sheets, event schedules and client records.
• Arrange and attend client viewings and tastings to finalise event details.
• Work closely with operations and onboard teams to ensure clear handovers and smooth delivery.
• Help resolve last-minute changes, gather feedback and identify ways to improve the guest experience.
