Job summary

City Cruises UK is seeking a Charter Sales and Event Delivery Executive to join our City Experiences team in London. You will actively promote and sell private hire experiences, and work closely with the Charter Sales Manager to meet budgeted sales revenue while delivering polished events.

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience (minimum 2 years) in an events/travel environment.
• End-to-end events sales and delivery experience for corporate and private events including budget tracking.
• Excellent negotiation skills to tailor product packages for customers.
• Confident communicator with ability to build rapport with clients by phone and in person.
• Customer service experience both face-to-face and via phone.
• Highly organised with proven ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Flexible “can do” attitude for pressurised situations.
• Availability to work outside normal hours including weekends.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and database management systems.
• Comfortable working with new technology and databases.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell private hire experiences as part of Charter Sales.
• Aim to achieve budgeted sales revenue and profit for Direct and Trade charters.
• Develop relationships with 3rd party agents, corporate clients and partners.
• Attend monthly sales meetings to discuss revenue vs budget.
• Collaborate with Event Delivery teams to ensure smooth events.
• Support with product development for new charter offerings and packages.
• Coordinate guest requests with on-board teams.
• Attend events up to 4 times per year and provide feedback.
• Assist with booking piers and third-party vendors.
• Contribute to CRM database builds for enquiries and mailings.
