Job summary

9B Careers is working with a design-focused architectural practice of around 20 people, known for delivering high-end residential projects. They are looking for an Architectural Technician to join their team, providing strong technical and BIM support across a range of luxury residential projects.

The role requires developing BIM models in Archicad, producing construction information and schedules, coordinating with architects and consultants, and maintaining project documentation.

Qualifications

• Architectural Technology qualification or equivalent experience.
• Strong Archicad and BIM skills.
• Good knowledge of UK construction and technical detailing.
• Experience producing detailed construction information.
• Ideally experience on high-end/luxury residential projects.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
• Proactive, collaborative and keen to develop your technical expertise.

Responsibilities

• Develop BIM models and detailed drawings using Archicad.
• Produce detailed construction information, specifications and schedules.
• Prepare 2D construction details and technical packages.
• Support projects across the RIBA stages.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants and other project teams.
• Research materials, products and construction solutions.
• Attend project meetings and workshops.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and drawing information.
