Job summary

David Clulow Opticians is seeking an Optical Assistant in Cardiff to deliver premium customer service and guide customers through designer frames and lenses.

You will support fittings, adjustments and eye care procedures, helping ensure each customer leaves with the right product and experience. No optical experience is required, and you’ll develop knowledge in fashion-forward eyewear and luxury service.

Qualifications

• No optical experience required - just pride in your work and a desire to learn.
• Genuine interest in fashion, luxury eyewear and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional customer experience – welcome customers, understand their needs and guide them through our designer frames and lenses.
• Support fittings and adjustments – learn how to fit, adjust and care for luxury eyewear to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Assist in high‑quality eye care – support pre‑screening and optical processes using advanced testing technologies.
