Job summary

Stock Exchange Hotel in central Manchester is hiring a Guest Service Associate to warmly welcome guests, take accurate food and beverage orders, and serve at a high standard. You'll set up and clear tables, prepare beverages, handle payments at the till, and follow hygiene and safety procedures while collaborating with the kitchen and wider hotel team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Previous hospitality experience is preferred but not essential; full training is provided, along with

• Previous hospitality or food & beverage experience preferred but training provided.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to learn and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong teamwork and a professional appearance.
• Ability to stay calm and efficient in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests in a warm and professional manner.
• Take and fulfill food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Serve food and drinks to a high standard.
• Set up and clear tables; keep dining areas clean and well-presented.
• Prepare beverages including tea, coffee, and bar drinks (where applicable).
• Process payments and operate till/POS system.
• Follow food hygiene, health and safety, and company procedures.
• Collaborate with kitchen and hotel team to deliver exceptional guest service.
