Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping within a luxury hotel.
• Understanding of room presentation, cleaning standards, linen care and amenities.
• Ability to organise daily workloads, coordinate room inspections and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and organisational skills, with the confidence to support fellow team members across departments.
• Good knowledge of health and safety, hygiene standards and COSHH requirements.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays as required.
• Right to work in the United Kingdom.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily housekeeping operation, ensuring guest rooms meet the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort and elegance.
• Inspect rooms with a discerning eye, focusing on small details that elevate the guest experience.
• Support and inspire team members, promoting a culture of care, collaboration and pride.
• Coordinate room assignments, priorities and turnaround times with the House and Front Office teams.
• Monitor supplies, linen and amenities to ensure beautiful presentation and maintenance.
• Communicate room status updates to Front Office and Maintenance; report and resolve issues promptly.
• Deliver personalised guest care by handling special requests and preferences with care.
• Contribute to establishing housekeeping standards during pre-opening and ensure consistency with Cambridge House quality.
