Job summary

Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane is seeking a Learning & Development Manager to drive the hotel’s learning strategy, build leadership capability, and deliver world-class guest experiences through targeted training.

You will partner with hotel leaders to identify opportunities, design onboarding and development programmes, and ensure teams have the skills and knowledge to excel in luxury hospitality.

Qualifications

• Experience in Learning & Development or similar role.
• Experience facilitating training and coaching employees and leaders.
• Experience in luxury hospitality or service-focused environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Strong analytical and organisational skills with ability to identify performance improvements.
• Experience developing learning materials or programmes is advantageous.
• Good spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding programmes for hotel staff and managers.
• Facilitate learning and development programmes across departments.
• Identify performance gaps with department leaders and propose learning solutions.
• Support leadership development, including onboarding and training initiatives.
• Maintain and develop the Department Trainer programme throughout the hotel.
• Conduct learning needs analyses and annual learning plans.
• Create training calendars and manage learning resources.
• Monitor and evaluate programme effectiveness and impact.
• Ensure compliance and mandatory training across departments.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and service excellence.
• Strengthen internal leadership development and talent progression pathways.
• Collaborate with hotel leadership on learning strategies addressing service gaps.
