Hamberley Care Homes is recruiting a Kitchen Assistant to join the Nottingham team. You will support chefs in planning, preparing and serving meals that meet residents’ dietary and nutritional needs within a luxurious care home setting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working in a similar catering role, ideally in a care or similar environment.
• Committed to customer care and first-class service provision.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety COSHH regulations.
• Empathy and a desire to make a difference to the lives of our residents.

Responsabilités

• Support the Chefs in planning and provisioning high-quality meals that meet resident dietary requirements.
• Plan, prepare, and serve balanced meals meeting dietary requirements.
• Ensure all food prepared meets Food Hygiene Standards and safe methods of work are used.
• Manage stocks and stores, mark foods, and operate stock rotation systems.
• Maintain accurate records to satisfy food hygiene requirements such as fridge temperature checks.
