Job summary

Caffè Concerto is seeking a Senior Bespoke Cake Artist to join our Cake Studio in London. The role centers on translating clients’ visions into exquisite edible art, with many orders inspired by provided images and concepts.

You will craft wedding, celebration, novelty, and corporate cakes, reproduce designs with high accuracy, and create sugar flowers and luxury finishes. A strong portfolio and meticulous handcrafting are essential, with a passion for cake artistry.

Qualifications

• Experience as Bespoke Cake Artist or Senior Cake Decorator.
• Strong portfolio of celebration, wedding, and novelty cakes.
• Excellent handcrafting and modelling skills.
• Ability to faithfully replicate customer designs from inspiration images.
• Knowledge of colour matching and luxury presentation.

Responsibilities

• Create bespoke celebration, wedding, novelty, and corporate cakes.
• Reproduce customer designs with exceptional attention to detail.
• Design and craft sugar flowers, toppers, and decorative elements.
• Work with fondant, modelling chocolate, buttercream, ganache, and royal icing.
• Sculpt and decorate cakes to a luxury standard.
• Manage multiple bespoke orders while meeting deadlines.
• Collaborate with sales and production teams to exceed expectations.
• Maintain food safety and hygiene standards.
