Job summary

Guerlain in Selfridges, Trafford Centre, is seeking a Business Manager to lead the Guerlain counter. You will manage the counter team, drive sales targets and ensure exceptional luxury service to every customer.

The role requires strong retail experience, leadership, and a passion for the brand. Full-time hours, 37.5 per week, with an emphasis on coaching, merchandising and reporting to head office.

Responsibilities

• To achieve or exceed counter sales targets and corporate objectives.
• To set up and follow individual and collective objectives weekly and monthly.
• To collate all sales information and submit report to line manager by deadline.
• To be aware of competitor activity and adjust counter strategy.
• To pro-actively seek opportunities and promote in-store events to maximise sales.
• To ensure luxury level of service and develop customer loyalty.
• To handle customer complaints discretely and effectively.
• To ensure the team follows customer service guidelines and provide feedback.
• To maintain the correct basic stock levels on counter.
• To ensure merchandising is displayed in line with guidelines.
• To communicate the corporate strategy and goals to the team and coach them.
• To recruit, induct and manage staff performance.
• To ensure staff comply with Company policies.
• To build strong relationships with store management and head office teams.
