Job summary

Apex Resource Management Ltd is recruiting for an Automotive Fabricator Welder near Daventry for a luxury automotive brand. You will work on full car shell restorations using donor vehicles, performing MIG and TIG welding, steel fabrication and thin-gauge sheet metal work (1–2 mm).

The role demands high precision and the ability to deliver flawless finishes on iconic vehicles, with a day shift and overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive fabrication and welding.
• Ability to work to tight tolerances and thin-gauge sheet metal (1–2 mm).
• Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding is essential.
• Experience with donor vehicle restorations and roll cages is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform full car shell restorations using donor vehicles.
• Carry out MIG & TIG welding, cut out and replace corrosion areas.
• Fabricate steel parts and sheet metal components (1–2 mm).
• Form panels, restore structures, and fit weld roll cages to high standards.
