Apex Resource Management Ltd is seeking an experienced Automotive Trimmer / Fitter in Daventry to join a skilled restoration team. Work on interior trims using premium materials for luxury and performance vehicles, delivering flawless craftsmanship.

Role involves precise fitment, modification of components, and collaboration with engineers to overcome build challenges. Full-time, temp-to-perm with a strong focus on quality and attention to detail.

Qualifications

Experience as a Trim Technician or Vehicle Trimmer.
Experience in luxury automotive, restoration, coachbuilding or motorsport environments.
Knowledge of leather, textiles, Alcantara and composite materials (carbon fibre advantageous).
Excellent attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
Flexible approach and willingness to work overtime.

Responsibilities

Interior trim installation, assembly, and fitment to exacting standards.
Remove, modify, and refit interior components for bespoke builds.
Trim and fit premium interior materials (leather, Alcantara, fabrics, carbon fibre).
Bench modifications, repairs, and rework for flawless finish.
Strip, rebuild, and align exterior trim and body panels as needed.
Basic sewing and hand-stitching to support craftsmanship.
Inspect completed work to meet luxury manufacturer standards.
Collaborate with engineers and technicians to resolve build challenges.
