Job summary

Clarendon Fine Art is seeking ambitious sales professionals in Bury St Edmunds to develop high-value client relationships and close significant artwork sales. This is a relationship-led role with uncapped earning potential, targeting long-term client engagement and repeat business.

You’ll build a portfolio through gallery visitors, collectors, referrals and events, delivering personalised, consultative service and hosting private viewings to drive sales and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Ambitious sales professional with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Strong relationship-building and client development skills.
• Comfort with consultative, non-transactional selling and long sales cycles.

Responsibilities

• Build a portfolio of clients through gallery visitors, collectors, referrals, and events.
• Match clients with artwork through a personalised consultative approach.
• Contact clients by phone, email and in-person visits.
• Host gallery events, private viewings and exclusive exhibitions.
• Conduct home consultations and arrange personalised appointments.
• Generate repeat business and referrals and deliver exceptional client experiences.
