Job summary

Knotty Ash Primary School, part of Lydiate Learning Trust, is seeking a caring Lunchtime Welfare Assistant to cover a period of maternity leave. You will supervise pupils in the dining hall and playground, promote positive behaviour, and support children's welfare and safety during the lunch break, helping to create a calm and enjoyable environment for all.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a caring, reliable and enthusiastic Lunchtime Welfare Assistant to join our friendly team at Knotty Ash Primary School to cover a period of Maternity leave. As part of Lydiate Learning Trust, we are committed to providing an inclusive, nurturing environment where every child can thrive.

As a Lunchtime Welfare Assistant, you will play an important role in ensuring the safety, welfare and wellbeing of our pupils during the lunchtime period. You will supervise children in the dining hall and playground, encourage positive behaviour, support children's welfare needs and help create a calm and enjoyable environment for all.
