Job summary

Knotty Ash Primary School in Liverpool is seeking a caring Lunchtime Welfare Assistant to cover a period of maternity leave. You will supervise pupils in the dining hall and playground, promote positive behaviour and support pupils' welfare during lunch.

Qualifications

• Ability to engage with children during lunchtime activities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working in a school or child-care setting (advantage).

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils in the dining hall and playground at lunchtimes.
• Promote positive behaviour and support pupils' welfare needs.
• Help create a calm, enjoyable lunchtime environment and support safeguarding.
