Job summary

Glascote Primary Academy is seeking a caring, enthusiastic person to join a team supervising children at lunchtimes. You will work in the dining hall, helping pupils enjoy a calm, safe lunch break and supporting colleagues as required.

The role involves promoting positive pupil behaviour, assisting with table manners, administering basic first aid, and helping to set up and clear away dining room furniture and equipment. A safeguarding-conscious approach is essential.

The role:

Glascote Primary Academy are looking for a caring, enthusiastic person to work as part of a team to supervise the children during lunchtime. You should enjoy working with children, relate well to adults, act responsibly, respond quickly to situations and have the ability to remain calm.

The role will include supporting pupils mainly during lunchtime in the dining hall but could also include play activities. The role requires a positive, calm approach, promoting positive pupil behaviour, assisting with table manners, administering basic first aid, the setting up and clearing away of dining room equipment such as chairs and tables.
