A local primary school is seeking a part-time Lunchtime Supervisor to start as soon as possible. You will supervise pupils during lunchtime, promote positive behaviour, and support their well-being. Commitment to safeguarding and willingness to undertake first aid training is essential. This temporary role is for 7.5 hours per week, with a salary of £4,342.50. Overview

Lunchtime Supervisor required to start as soon as possible

Location: Two Rivers Primary School, with sites at Torc (EYFS) and Quince (primary learners).

Contract: Part-time, term-time only, 7.5 hours per week. Temporary until 31 December 2026.

Hours: 11.50am – 1.20pm, Monday – Friday.

Grade 2 / Point 3. Salary FTE: £24,796. Actual Salary: £4,342.50.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and support pupils during lunchtime to ensure their safety and well-being.
  • Promote positive behaviour and inclusive play, encouraging participation and social development.
  • Assist with basic first aid if trained, and escalate concerns to school staff as required.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching and support staff at both sites as needed.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Enthusiasm, commitment, and an interest in special needs.
  • Willingness to complete paediatric first aid training (training may be supported by the school).
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
  • A clear enhanced DBS check and willingness to undergo any required safety checks in line with KCSIE.
  • Ability to work across both school sites as required.
