Job summary

Ad Astra Infant School is seeking a Midday Supervisory Assistant to join the friendly team. The role is based at Ad Astra Infant School within TEACH Poole Multi‑Academy Trust, working 5.41 hours per week (Mon-Fri, 11:55 am–1:00 pm) during term time only.

Salary is Grade C (Point 3-4) £24,796-£25,185 pro-rata with actual salaries around £3,010.72-£3,057.95. Permanent and ASAP start. Previous experience and First Aid qualification are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Previous experience is advantageous but not essential.
• First Aid qualification is advantageous.
• Be able to work as part of a supportive team.

Responsibilities

• Organise and develop safe, purposeful and creative play during lunchtime.
• Supervise children in the hall during lunch and help prepare/clear up.
• Support positive behaviour and a calm lunchtime environment.
