Job summary

Dorset Council UK is recruiting a Midday Supervisor to join our friendly school team. You will supervise and support pupils during the lunch period, helping them follow routines and stay safe.

The role involves setting out tables and chairs, assisting with washing up and kitchen duties at the end of lunch, and helping to encourage positive play in the playground. Training is provided and no prior experience is required.

Qualifications

• Training will be provided; previous experience is not essential.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support children during lunchtime to ensure safety and well-being.
• Lift and set out tables and chairs for lunchtime.
• Carry out general cleaning up duties after lunch.
• Support kitchen staff at the end of lunch with clearing away and washing up.
• Interact with pupils in the playground and encourage safe play.
