Job summary

Westfield Infant School is seeking a caring Midday Supervisor to support pupils during lunchtime, ensuring safety and positive behaviour in the dining hall and playground.

The role involves supervising indoors and outdoors, promoting inclusive play, responding to minor accidents, and working as part of the school team. Previous experience is welcome but not essential, with safeguarding and DBS checks in line with policy.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils during lunchtime indoors and outdoors
• Ensure safety and welfare of all children at all times
• Promote positive behaviour in line with the school policy
• Support children in the dining hall and encourage good table manners
• Organise safe, inclusive play activities
• Respond to minor accidents and report concerns
• Work with the school team to provide a positive lunchtime experience
