Job summary

Lift Hamford is seeking a dedicated midday supervisor to help create a safe, positive lunchtime experience for our pupils. You will supervise dining areas, playgrounds and the school site, ensuring breaks are calm, welcoming and secure. This role requires you to be present, alert and caring, upholding behaviour policies, supporting wellbeing and stepping in as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising children or young people.
• Can stay calm and composed in busy environments.
• Communicates clearly and warmly with pupils.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils during lunchtime in dining areas, playgrounds and other shared spaces.
• Uphold our behaviour policy, managing conflicts or disruptions fairly.
• Support the wellbeing of every child, watching for signs of distress or bullying.
• Keep spaces clean and safe, clearing tables and addressing spillages or hazards quickly.
• Help organise and supervise lunchtime activities or clubs as needed.
• Share concerns or incidents with teaching and pastoral staff promptly.
